Cast iron railings are provided for safety, especially along walkway. The Hillock houses the historic Light House and provides a vantage view point to enjoy the beauty of the Arabian Sea. The Hillock is a wonderful Sunset point from where the serene Sunset over the Arabian Sea can be relished.

Nearest Airport is Kozhikode which is 87 Km from Mahe Mahe is well connected with buses from Kozhikode (60 Km) and Kannur (27 km) . There are long route buses to Mahe from Puducherry ,Thirvananthapuram ,Bangalore and Mangalore.
